More about Nova Scotia

NEW RESCUE! Hi! I’m Nova Scotia! I’m a one-year-old boxer mix (my foster family thinks I might also have some German shepherd and pitbull in me). I’m on the lookout for my forever family, and I think you should know—I’m kind of the whole package! I live with five other dogs right now, and I get along with all of them. I’m playful and love a good romp, but I’m also respectful and know when another pup doesn’t want to play. I’m great with kids too, so I’d fit right in with a fun, busy household. I’m house trained and love using my doggy door. I’m also crate trained and feel extra safe enjoying my meals in my crate. I’ve got plenty of energy and would be happiest with someone who takes me on daily adventures. I’m super smart, eager to please, and treat-motivated—so I’d be a dream dog for anyone who likes to teach tricks or maybe even try out dog sports. Even though I’m athletic, I’m also a total cuddlebug. I love being near my people and being part of whatever they’re doing. At the end of the day, nothing makes me happier than curling up with you for some snuggles. So…what do you say? Do you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for me?
