Charlene is a 9-year-old, 15-pound Yorkshire Terrier, possibly with a touch of Brussels Griffon, and she is the definition of a gentle lap dog. Small, sweet, and soulful, Charlene is happiest curled up in your arms or quietly keeping you company throughout the day. With her expressive eyes and scruffy little face, she has a way of melting hearts without even trying. She is leash trained, enjoys relaxed walks, and rides beautifully in the car. Charlene is also comfortable in a crate and does well with it—though she may softly remind you if she hears you nearby and would rather be soaking up some cuddle time. Charlene has done well with larger dogs and with smaller, confident dogs who are not fearful or submissive. She has also lived successfully with a cat in a previous foster home. Charlene doesn’t ask for much—just a warm lap, gentle strolls, and someone who will cherish her golden years.
