Meet Julio – an energetic and mischievous pup ready for a  new start ! Julio is an 85-pound black German Shepherd puppy with a heart as big as his paws. This handsome young boy barely escaped euthanasia at a crowded shelter, but thanks to a second chance, he’s now safe and beginning to discover what love and security feel like. Still a bit unsure of his new surroundings, Julio is taking it all in with enthusiasm and sometimes an overly energetic approach ......Julio LOVES to play ball and plays with gusto....still bit unsure of himself he barks reactively when he sees other dogs. Dedicated volunteers are working with him to give him confidence and basic obedience along with helping him with impulse control when he sees passing cars . Julio's ideal home would be one with experience with herding dogs with a good prey /ball drive .
