More about Firefly (& Gideon) bonded

Firefly came to the rescue pregnant, after being abandoned by her owner when they moved. She had her litter in May of 2025, and while two of her kittens were adopted together, she bonded the most with her baby Gideon and would prefer to go to a home that can accommodate both of them. She is very calm, sweet, and peaceful, and loves to sleep on anything soft and cozy. Though she is not excitable, she runs to her scratching pad when she realizes it is time for food! She loves to cuddle with Gideon on her own terms, and gently lets him know when she’s had enough. Firefly would do well in a home with older children and other cats, with the right introduction.   Gideon was born to his mother Firefly after she was rescued while pregnant. He has grown up in foster homes and would LOVE to have a permanent home of his own. He’s still a young cat with kitten energy and would thrive in a home where he has room to run around and play. He loves his mama and would prefer to go to a home with her. Gideon is a little shy when meeting new people, but his natural curiosity wins out quickly and loves to watch everything that is going on around him. Given some patience, he will do well in a home with older children and other cats, especially another young cat who also loves to play and can keep up with his energy!
