More about Lucy Darien
Lucy was born around February 21, 2019 and weighs about 30 pounds. Lucy and five other dogs were surrendered to us when their human needed surgery and was no longer able to care for them. Lucy is very sweet, laid back, calm. quiet and loves other dogs, cats and her humans, including children. She is an affectionate lap dog and "shadow", following her people everywhere. Lucy is perfect riding in a car & walks nicely on leash. She will even stay at your side off leash. Lucy has attended PetSmart events and does a fantastic job! She loves people & greets everyone with tail wags while asking for love and is content just sitting, watching the shoppers. Lucy is nearly housebroken (but it took some time to train her & she is not quite 100% yet) & is actually quite perfect in every way! The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00 Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list.
