More about Elphie

Hi, I'm Elphie. Yes, my foster mom named me and my sister, Glinda, after the main characters of Wicked!Just like my namesake, people judge me on my looks. I'm a black dog and sadly it takes us longer to be adopted than dogs of other colors (same for black cats). But my foster mom tells me I'm the best girl. I am very social with people and dogs. I really like the small people they call kids. I love going places with my foster mom. We go to Lowe's and Dick's Sporting Goods. I'm even brave enough to ride the escalator at DSG. I am an excellent car rider and have my very own car seat so I can sit up front.I love to play outside in the yard and chew on sticks or toys, or just do a little sunbathing. My foster sister, Stormie, showed me the joys of bathing in the sun (much more fun than those water baths). I know to go outside to go potty and am an expert at the doggy door. I can't wait to find my forever family! Do you think you could love me forever?
