Are you looking for a protector?  A one-person/family dog? Sitka just might be the one you're looking for.  We've had Sitka since he was 5 weeks old, so we know he has not been treated badly.  He was the shy, stand-offish one of his litter. He is bonded strongly to his foster family and loves intensely, and we know this bond is transferable with patience and gentle handling.  He is suspicious of strangers and will bark and retreat.   He has NO bite history, and we trust him completely.  He will be alert to any activity that is different in his home.  Once he's comfortable with his surroundings, he is silly, affectionate, and playful. He does prefer women and is gentle and quiet.   The best for him is a secure, stable home with a canine companion and a patient owner. He is so easy to handle; he has had 6 weeks of group training sessions and is smart and willing.  He is very beautiful, graceful, and lanky.  He's under 2 years old, 45 pounds.  We love Sitka and want the best for him.  You'll love him too!
