More about Annie in NH

Annie was dumped by the Mennonites along with two other dogs after she was no longer able to produce puppies. She had litter after litter then discarded like trash. She was adopted last summer with one of the other girls as a golden mix but the family doesn't feel they can keep her safe due to her escaping and wandering antics of being part hound. She is the sweetest girl and really doesnt act like the 8 years old we were told. She deserves a wonderful retirement homes. There are no known health issues just need pampering, love and a secure yard. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org                         Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement  an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $500. for adults over 12 months, $600 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months.
