Bella is a happy, active 55lb love nugget! Officially, she is 50% American Pit Bull Terrier, 27% American Staffordshire Terrier, 6% Bulldog,  and the rest is a mashup.  She has never met a person she didn’t like - man, woman or child. She loves kids - has lived with toddlers just fine. She is strong so just be careful around little ones - she could easily knock them over when she’s excited. She enjoys visiting the older neighborhood kids when they’re outside.  She gets along well with other dogs - currently living with a GSD mix and a senior Yorkie. She loves toys, balls and walks, second only to snuggles. She really does think she’s a lap dog. She is house trained and only destructive with stuffies. She’s never touched anything of value. She listens well and knows commands - sit, down, heel, paw, wait, break. She is 5-ish years old and energetic. A home with a big backyard to run around in would be ideal. She is currently in a townhouse and does just fine with 2-3 walks a day. She is a bit leash reactive when she sees other dogs on walks, but it’s excitement, not aggression. She responds well to correction, redirection and consistent movement.  She settles nicely when inside, opting to play with toys or nap on the couch or at your feet. She is crate trained, although she doesn’t love it. Nothing a stuffed Kong won’t fix though. She really is a great dog.  All she wants is to play, snuggle and get treats. Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip
