More about Hickory

Meet Hickory, a handsome white and gray, short-haired 6 year old lovebug. He came to us years ago with his mom, Constance and his brother, Hunter on the Freedom Ride from a high-kill shelter when their time had run out. The kill shelter told us about this little family because they were so sweet and gentle and they were worried they would not make it out.  Sadly, AFTER 4 YEARS in foster care, Hickory is STILL with us. We don't understand why and  poor Hickory is beginning to give up hope of ever finding his family and his forever home. He is a sweet and gentle soul and deserves a family who loves and cares about him. Hickory is a quiet, unassuming cat and is still playful. He is loving, likes to be held, and comes to you for affection.. He loves a quiet window where he can look out at wildlife or what is happening in the world. He is shy at first but warms up within a day or two and gets along well with other cats, but prefers a loving human to sit and watch t.v. with - a Hallmark movie or sports, he is not picky.Hickory is neutered, received FVRCP  and Rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration - you won't need to pay to renew every year, we've done it for you! He is ready to come home now with an approved home. Please fill out a digital application at: https://submit.jotform.com/221029453063044
