Meet Arbor. Arbor is what we lovingly call a “pet me with your eyes” kind of girl. She is absolutely stunning and prefers to admire her humans from a cozy, safe distance while she continues building her confidence. She’s making beautiful progress with learning that gentle hands can be kind - she just needs a calm, patient home willing to let her move at her own pace. Because of her sensitive nature, she’s looking for an adult-only home without dogs. Where Arbor truly shines is with other cats. She gains comfort and confidence from her feline friends and would thrive in a home with kitty companions to show her the ropes. Once she feels secure, her playful side comes out — toys, tunnels, and little hideaway huts are her happy place. At around 2 years old, Arbor has so much potential to blossom in the right environment. If you believe that love means patience, quiet understanding, and celebrating small victories, Arbor is your perfect match. Arbor’s’ adoption fee is $135.00 Please complete a non-obligatory application at www.pawsandprayers.org Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible.  Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.  Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian. Inquiries submitted through Petfinder or other third-party websites do not submit as applications in our database.
