Hi there, my name is Claudia. I am a survivor of a very horrific experience. One year ago, humans tied a shoe string around my neck many times, so tight that it embedded into my skin and caused a very painful infection. I had a bright red ring around my neck. I didn't understand what I did wrong, for someone to treat me this way. It was painful, I fought every day to continue to heal and live because something in my heart told me not all humans are like this. So many humans came together to take care of me and give me that hope. Now, I am living at our shelter amongst other cats of all sizes and personalities. I like to take naps high up in the cat tree, I wait quietly and patiently to be seen by my perfect person. Sometimes I am napping when people come to meet all of the cats, so I get overlooked again. Do you see me? Am I maybe just the cat you are looking for?
