More about Horton

Horton is a large pitch black Bombay male who was a stray wandering around with a bone in his digestion tract but is all better now! He is a sweet boy & enjoys jumping up to sit beside you or come on your lap or playing with his favorite feather teaser. His tongue is usually out - he only has 2 teeth in the front and 4 teeth in the back! He would do best in a quiet home with other mature folks such as himself. He's a unique bundle of love!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
