Hi there, I’m Dixie! I know I don’t seem all that sweet when I’m barking in my kennel but if you can look past it, you’ll find that the moment I’m outside the stressful shelter, I’m the sweetest dog around. Volunteers say they can’t believe how docile and gentle I am! I’m the kind of dog that will sit by your side and quietly enjoy time with you. I enjoy leisurely walks and am more of a low energy pup. I’m just waiting for someone to give me a chance and see me for who I really am. Are you that someone?
