Meet Ponyo! Hi there! My name is Ponyo, and I’m on the lookout for a super-special adopter. I was raised as a bottle baby and single kitten, but my mom had to go away, and I couldn’t go with her. Since then, I’ve been through multiple homes and ended up in a shelter. I was so scared by the time I got there that I didn’t know how to trust anyone anymore. Big dogs in one of the homes really frightened me too. I’m dreaming of a calm home where I can be the spoiled princess I was meant to be. I have so much love to give, but I need you to understand that I might seem a bit scary at first. It’s not that I don’t want love or trust; I just need time to feel safe and know that I won’t be abandoned again. I would love a nice sunbeam to lie in, a spot where I can see outside (but not go outside), and someone who will meet me at my level and love me on my terms. I can get a little over-stimulated at times, so someone with experience handling cats with a bit of trauma would be perfect for me. I’m really just a good girl who wants to love and be loved.
