Meet Ruby! Ruby is a petite husky (she weighs just 33lbs) who is looking for her loving forever home. Ruby has luxated patellas on both of her back knees, and her previous owners called 911 to get rid of her one day as they were no longer willing to help with her disability, which led to her being brought to the ACC. Husky House pulled her upon hearing about this, as alumni Ripple and Whopper both had the same condition and did great with surgery. She has gotten surgery on her first knee and has completely healed from the procedure, and Husky House is working with veterinarians to determine if surgery is an option for her other knee. Ruby is a very sweet, affectionate pup who loves people and other dogs. She even used to live with a cat, so she’s cat friendly! Interested in adopting Ruby?
