Bonnie (TX) is a female American Pit Bull Terrier mix rescued in Texas who has a heart as big as her smile.Her early life was unimaginably cruel — she was found chained to a stoop, emaciated and burned by her owner. Since rescue, Bonnie has shown just how resilient she is. Despite everything she’s endured, Bonnie is pure love. She adores people of all ages, including kids, and greets the world with enthusiasm and affection. She loves zooming around the yard, happily burning off energy, and when it’s time to settle down she enjoys cozying up with her blankets (which she gently nibbles for comfort — an endearing little quirk).Bonnie is very smart, highly food-motivated (snacks are her love language!), and eager to learn. She is still working on potty training and will need a patient adopter who understands that learning comes with time and kindness.Bonnie would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can feel safe, secure, and soak up all the attention she deserves. This brave, joyful girl has survived the worst — now she’s ready for the best.
