Meet Miracle, a boy named after his miraculous rescue journey. Miracle was once a stray on the streets of Georgia who ran onto a busy highway and got hit back-to-back by two cars! But this magical boy survived and traveled all the way to New York on his hero's journey to a brighter future. Now, Miracle finds sanctuary at our Adoption Center in Queens, while he waits for a home. He is working hard on his leash-walking skills, basic commands, and impressing us all with just how clever and eager to learn he is. Miracle is about 70 pounds, lives for squeaky toys, cuddling, and peering out the window to watch the world go by. He is house-trained, medium-energy, and LOVES people. He is so eager and appreciative of any and all affection and attention; all he wants to do is cuddle and be loved on. He's been selective with his doggy mates, preferring some more than others. But with humans, Miracle has never met a stranger; he thinks everyone is his best friend.If there was ever a dog who deserved a happily ever after, it's Miracle.
