He is perfectly content to simply exist near you, whether that’s on the sofa beside you, or curled up on a blanket a few feet away. He offers his quiet company and soaks in gentle affection like head scratches and soft pets. ​He truly doesn't ask for much—just a cozy spot, a kind heart, and someone who appreciates a big, gentle fuzzy friend.   ​Home Preferences & Boundaries: ​It's important for his new family to know that Carleton is not a fan of being picked up and carried around; he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground. A home that respects this boundary will be a perfect fit for him. ​Kids: We believe Carleton can thrive in a home with gentle, respectful children who have been taught how to be kind to animals.  ​He is looking to be your only beloved cat in the household.
