Meet Emily! Emily is the kind of cat who likes to take life at her own pace. This pretty girl can be a little unsure when faced with change, and she tends to keep her guard up a first. However, once she decides you're part of her circle, she'll happily settle in nearby for pets and quiet companionship. She's not much a fan of being picked up or carried around, but she's perfectly content hanging out beside you while keeping on eye on the world around her.  Emily is an independent, aloof queen who enjoys a calm, chill environment where she can simply relax and exist in peace. She has her boundaries and appreciates people who respect them, so she's do best in a home with older children who understand cat body language when she needs her space.  When it comes to other cats, Emily can be a bit spicy during interactions and definitely prefers the company of laid-back male cats over females. A mellow feline friend who won't crowd her would be the best match. She has not yet been dog tested. If you're looking for a low-key companion who values quiet company over constant attention, Emily might just be your perfect match.  Emily's adoption fee is $85 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be keep as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, indoors, and current on vaccinations and preventative care. Our adoption process includes a background check, home visit, and vet history check.
