Meow meet Loona! If love alone were enough to find a forever home, Loona would have been adopted a hundred times over! This sweet senior tabby has spent far too much of her life wondering why the people she loved couldn’t keep her. Originally found as a stray, Loona was brought to the rescue and eventually adopted. For a while, she finally had a home of her own. Then her owner fell on hard times and, through no fault of her own, she had to return to the rescue. She waited and hoped again. Another family came along,  once more she thought she had found her happy ending. Sadly, living in a home with multiple pets was overwhelming and stressful for her, and she found herself back at the rescue again. Through all of the heartbreak, Loona has never stopped loving people. She is one of those rare cats who simply wanted to be near her person. She begs for pets and attention, happily soaks up affection, and loves spending her days stretched out in a sunny window. She is gentle, silly, kind hearted, and has so much love to give it hurts to think how long she has been waiting for someone to choose her for good. Loona needs to be the one and only pet in the home. She is on a weight management diet and will need pre measured meals to help her feeling her best. Too many people have let Loona go. Now, as a senior cat, she waits patiently for someone who won’t give up on her. Loona has spent enough of her life being left behind. She deserves a home where she can spend her golden years basking in sunny windows, soaking up love, and finally knowing that when she gives her heart to someone, they will keep it forever!
