Ellie Mae gets an A+ for sweetness, gentleness, and friendliness. She's one of those cats who is low maintenance and high return of love! Surely she was someone's pet - she's just so relaxed and socially at ease - she was found as a stray and no owner has been found or came forward and she wasn't chipped. She'll sit with you, she lets you pick her up, she loves to be petted and she's not shy. She's a winner waiting to be won! We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us!
