Animal Shelters in Andrews, TX

Andrews has two listed animal shelters and rescue organizations, in Andrews County. The mix is fairly even between rescue organizations and animal shelters. Gardendale and Seminole, both within about 28 miles, have listings of their own. Opening hours are listed for many of them. Not many, but the ones here are ready to go home today.

Andrews has two listed at the moment, and they are shown above with the ones that have photos first. Open any of them for the full address, contact details and opening hours.

A mix of both, and the difference is worth knowing before you set out. A rescue usually places animals from a network of foster homes rather than from premises you can walk into, so you generally arrange a meeting first. A shelter or humane society more often has a facility you can visit during opening hours.

The Andrews listings all fall in Andrews County, which is worth knowing if you are checking whether a shelter takes animals from your area.

If nothing here suits, Gardendale, Seminole and Midland all have listings within about 35 miles. Each one links through from the sidebar.

Every listing here carries a phone number, and most link to the organization's own website. Calling ahead is worth it — opening hours change, and rescues often work by appointment rather than keeping a building open.
