Sniffari Specialist Seeking Sidekick Butch is a big, easy-energy boy. He walks beautifully on leash and prefers his adventures at a thoughtful pace—perfect for long “sniffaris” where he can observe the world and take in every interesting scent along the way.The shelter can feel a little overwhelming for him, so Butch appreciates slow, gentle introductions. Give him a little time to warm up, and you’ll see his sweet side shine. Once he knows you’re a friend, he’ll happily lean in for pets… and don’t forget the booty scratches. He loves booty scratches.This handsome guy is very treat motivated and already knows “sit.” He’s eager to learn more tricks—especially if snacks are involved! He also has a playful streak and adores stuffies. Watching this big boy gently toss a toy into the air and run to catch it is guaranteed to make you smile. Despite his size, he’s incredibly gentle and hasn’t de-stuffed a single toy.If you’re looking for a loyal, soft-hearted companion who enjoys calm walks, playful moments, and lots of booty scratches, Butch might just be your perfect match. Butch recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine.  He wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as he gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, he’ll be ready to show us his silly side with other dogs.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm.
