More about Benji

Benji is a cat with personality and he's looking for someone who appreciates a little spice along with their snuggles. New environments and change can make Benji feel unsure at first, so he may come in with a bit of a feisty attitude while he figures things out. But give him some time, patience, and understanding, and you'll start to see the fun, playful side of this handsome guy.  Because Benji likes things on his terms, he is searching for a confident, cat-savvy home that understands feline boundaries and body language. He would do best in an adult-only home where his boundaries are respected and he can settle in at his own pace. In the right environment, he's sure to form a strong bond with his people.  One thing Benji loves? Playtime! Catnip is basically the way to his heart, so if you happen to have a stash ready for him, you may already be winning him over. While he is a pretty playful guy at times, he also enjoys nap time. You can often find him cuddled up in his bed just lounging away. Benji has not been cat tested at this time and we are told he had successfully lived with a dog in the past.  Benji's adoption fee is $85 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and an FIV/FeLV test. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of having kept their pets altered, indoors, and current on vaccinations and preventative care.
