Dirty Little Paws Rescue in Oceanside, CA
Dirty Little Paws is a non-profit, no-kill 501(c)(3) cat rescue organization located in San Diego County. We focus on rescuing numerous cats and kittens from at-risk situations and high-kill shelters throughout Southern California. Our mission includes promoting the spaying and neutering of all cats, advocating for feral cats, and managing colonies around San Diego County. We educate and assist the public with urgent cat care needs and veterinary expenses on a case-by-case basis, as funding allows. Through our dedicated network of foster homes, we provide loving care and nurturing to prepare cats for their future forever homes. We also ensure these cats receive essential veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, testing for common viruses, and microchipping. Our foster volunteers are vital to our organization and play a crucial role in the success of our rescues. We continuously seek volunteers and foster homes, as we rely entirely on charitable donations, adoption fees, and fundraising events for our funding. Additionally, we assist with the trap-neuter-release (TNR) of community, stray, and feral cats, along with other rescue projects when resources permit.
